Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel
Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel Bourbon is special. Today, Blanton’s Original ages in Warehouse H, like Blanton’s Private Reserve did 50 years ago. It uses a mash bill of corn and rye for spice. Malted barley is also included. This bourbon ages in white oak. Bottled uncut and unfiltered, the ABV ranges from 62% to 67%.

About Blanton’s
Albert Bacon Blanton was born near Frankfort, Kentucky, in 1881. At 16, he started at the Old Fire Copper Distillery as an office worker. Over time, Blanton worked in every part of the distillery. He became superintendent at 20 and retired in 1952.
Like his mentor, E.H. Taylor, Blanton loved making Kentucky bourbon. He chose a special area in Warehouse H for aging bourbon. Blanton picked barrels from there for his private reserve.
About Bourbon
Bourbon is very American. It’s mostly made in Kentucky but can be made anywhere in the USA. It must be at least 51% corn and bottled at 40% ABV or higher. Try this American classic.
