Blanton’s Special Reserve
Blanton’s Special Reserve, also called Blanton’s Green Label, is a rare find in the USA. It’s bottled at 80 proof and made in limited amounts, only for export. The Green Label is simple and refined, with a sweeter, softer taste than Blanton’s main single-barrel bourbon. It’s carefully crafted and well balanced. The flavor features dry citrus and a touch of vanilla, finishing with sharp spice and hints of cinnamon apple. This bourbon works well for those new to single-barrel whiskeys and seasoned collectors alike.

Blanton’s Special Reserve has a softer profile, but it still delivers on flavor. Subtle caramel, light spice, and a clean finish make it very enjoyable.

What I like most about this bottle is how easy it goes down. The nose brings light honey and citrus, while the palate leans into vanilla, soft oak, and a touch of spice. It’s not overly complex, but it’s clean, balanced, and reliable—exactly what you want for casual sipping
