About Willett Pot Still Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Following family tradition, Willett Pot Still Reserve is a robust single-barrel Kentucky bourbon. It is aged from eight to ten years. This bourbon won the Gold Medal for taste at the 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and also received the Double Gold Medal for design. Its distinctive shape is meant to mirror the pot still used for generations at Willett Distilling Company. On the nose, it offers a soft, refined aroma with hints of vanilla, coconut, and cinnamon.
Each bottle features a label showing the specific barrel it was aged in, the bottle’s number in that series, and the total bottles produced from that barrel.
The Willett family legacy endures with Willett Pot Still Reserve. Now, you can become part of that history.
About Willett
The Willett family has a long history of making fine whiskey. John David Willett started distilling at Moore, Willett & Frenke Distillery near Louisville, Kentucky, during the Reconstruction era. In 1898, his 15-year-old son, A. Lambert Willett, began working with him. Lambert later bought a farm near Bardstown, Kentucky, and started building the Willett Distilling Company in 1935. Though the distillery later changed its name to Kentucky Bourbon Distillers, the family’s tradition continued. Kulsveen, who owns KBD, is also Willett’s son-in-law.
