Peerless Distilling Single Barrel Bourbon
Proof: 109.5 proof
Mash bill: Sweet Mash; composed of at least 51% Corn, Rye, and Malted Barley
Tasting Notes: A traditional Kentucky bourbon with a twist. It offers a creamy texture with hints of funky fruit pie, thick simple syrup, toffee, hot chocolate, and soft oak. It feels rich and mature. If blind tasting, you might mistake it for a heritage-style spirit.
The palate is full and rounded. It combines brown sugar, caramel, smoky cherry, raspberry, cream soda, and long-lasting oak. Out of all Peerless bourbons I’ve tried, this one is among the most complete, focused, and enjoyable.
The finish provides a warm Kentucky hug. It lingers with dried fruits, vanilla cream soda, toffee, and a hint of sweet oak.
About: Non-chill filtered; fermented with sweet mash
Peerless Kentucky Straight Bourbon promises top-quality spirits from its historic distillery. Unlike rye, which has more hay and spice, Peerless bourbon shines with fruit, floral notes, and oak. On the nose, expect citrus, cedar, and honeysuckle, balanced with spicy oak. The first sip highlights caramel and toasted oak, opening up to a variety of flavors across the palate. The long finish features a tug-of-war between sweet and spicy. Citrus, floral notes, and sweet oak face off against dry cocoa, cinnamon, and spicy oak. It’s a whiskey that appeals to both beginners and seasoned drinkers.
Every drop of Peerless Whiskey is crafted with care. It’s never sourced from other brands. It is never chill-filtered. Made from sweet mash, barrel proof, no water added. Proudly produced in the USA.
