COGNAC

The 1,200 eaux-de-vie coalesce into a stunning, artful composition, an ever-evolving orchestra of beautiful notes. The nose is met with a fragrant bouquet of flowers, sweet fruits, and subtle spice. The ethereal nectar of dried rose, citrus blossoms, honeysuckle, fruits, jasmine, leather, nutmeg, sandalwood, honey and wood bark is enhanced by a length of flavor that transcends the meaning of cognac. The complexity on the palate unveils the unique flavors and qualities that blossom in older eau-de-vie. These elements transition into a graceful finish with refined, nectar-rich opulence.

Martell XO is both spicy and rich. It starts off with the refined softness of the Borderies, and is followed by the intense of flavor of Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie. On the nose there are aromas of ground spice (black pepper, coriander), red berries, rich fruit flavors of fig chutney and compote. Nuttier notes of almonds and walnuts are paired with elements of beeswax and sandalwood. The mouthfeel is rounded and fruity and the palate is spicy with notes of fig and walnut. The finish is long and silky smooth.

The nose is elegant with floral, acacia, vanilla, almond, and madeleine aromas. Look for tannins, oak, floral, and fruity notes on the fresh and well-rounded palate. The finish is long and soft with lingering sandalwood.

The color is a beautiful mahogany with golden highlights. On the nose, you’ll find a harmony of candied orange, quince, coffee, cedarwood, and distinct rancio. The bold palate has orange peel, leather, roasted nuts, and tobacco, finishing with lingering vanilla, oak, and rancio notes.

The rich nose features aromas of candied orange, prune, cinnamon, cumin, and leather. On the complex palate, you’ll find orange zest, tobacco, and hints of rancio, culminating in a long finish.
