Ross & Squibb Distillery has introduced Remus Repeal Reserve Series VI, marking the sixth release of its limited-edition straight bourbon whiskey. This special batch is crafted by Master Distiller Ian Stirsman and his team of experts. It features five distinct bourbons, aged from 2008 to 2014, with an age range of 8 to 14 years. All are produced at the distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, which has been operating for over 175 years. This release is made in a signature high-rye style, with the blends changing each year to allow experimentation with different mash bills and aging processes. The components include 2% from 2008 with 21% rye, 17% from 2012 with 36% rye, 27% from 2012 with 21% rye, 29% from 2014 with 21% rye, and 25% from 2014 with 36% rye.

The aroma of Remus Repeal Reserve Series VI offers rich, candied fruit notes combined with hints of nutmeg and saddle leather. On the palate, flavors include candied fruit, fig jam, oak, and barrel char. It also has touches of mint, caramel, nutmeg, toffee, and honey. The finish balances sweet candied fruit and leather with lingering spice and rye heat.

The alcohol content is 50% ABV.
