Double Eagle Very Rare 20 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey
Fans of Eagle Rare usually think of this Buffalo Trace brand for its regular bourbon and the special releases in the Antique Collection. Recently, they introduced a new luxury bottle, a 20-year-old Eagle Rare in a custom crystal decanter.
The Double Eagle Very Rare Bourbon is said to be aged twice as long as the standard 10-year-old Eagle Rare. The focus with this bottle is mainly on the presentation and the age. The decanter is made of clear crystal, shaped like two eagles. One eagle is inside the bottle, and the other acts as the stopper.
The box that holds the decanter has two sliding doors. These doors are decorated with a design that looks like eagle feathers. Sliding the doors open reveals spotlights above and below the bottle. The lights highlight the stunning blown crystal decanter inside.
Kris Comstock, Eagle Rare’s senior marketing director, explained that this whiskey took years to reach maturity. He said they spent more than two years designing the packaging. The final result is a striking decanter and an eye-catching box. He said it is a piece anyone would be proud to display. He added that the bourbon tastes even better than it looks.
