For four generations, Jason Barrett’s family has crafted elegant buttons to keep suits and trousers of presidents and popes in place. Jason envisioned a new path—into the world of whiskey. His family’s lessons on hard work and patience proved useful when he opened a distillery in Rochester, NY, at age 24. He began creating small batches in the city’s first grain-to-glass distillery since Prohibition.

Black Button Single Barrel Apple Brandy Finished Bourbon is a sipping whiskey with a distinctive touch. It was first aged for two years in a single American white oak barrel. Then, it spent an additional two and a half years inside an apple brandy cask. The outcome is a limited-edition bottle at 119 proof, full of rich flavors of ripe apples and honey. Oak and baking spices add warmth and depth. It’s a truly marvelous spirit.
