About O.F.C. Vintage 1994 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Buffalo Trace has been making whiskey since 1775. Its long history means many bottles in their warehouses are very old. The O.F.C. series gets its name from the Old Fashioned Copper Distillery, which Buffalo Trace was called in 1870. These releases are aged much longer than the usual two years needed for straight bourbon. Most spend over 20 years in oak casks. The O.F.C. Vintage 1994 was distilled the same year as movies like Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, and The Lion King. After 25 years of slow aging, it was bottled in 2019. The fourth release in this series is rare and highly sought after, limited to only 1,085 bottles. It comes in a crystal decanter with real copper lettering, making it a beautiful collectible.
You can own one of these exclusive 1,085 bottles today.
About Buffalo Trace
Buffalo Trace Distillery is situated on the Kentucky River in Frankfort, Kentucky. Its name comes from a historic path used by migrating buffalo. Native Americans knew this trail well, and early settlers later used it when crossing the Ohio River to settle in the west.
The distillery is the oldest in the U.S. that has been running without stopping. It has a long history connected to master distillers like E.H. Taylor, Jr., George T. Stagg, Albert B. Blanton, Orville Schupp, and Elmer T. Lee. Today, it remains a family-owned business. It has operated on the same 130 acres next to the Kentucky River for over 200 years.
About Bourbon
