About Orphan Barrel Old Blowhard 26 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey

The mission of the Orphan Bottle Whiskey Company is to uncover barrels of rare and tasty whiskey hidden away in back storerooms and distilleries. Once these unique casks are found, they are brought to the company’s headquarters in Tullahoma, Tennessee. There, each cask is carefully tasted and blended before being bottled by hand.

Old Blowhard 26 Year Old Kentucky Bourbon comes from the legendary Stitzel-Weller Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky. Its mash bill contains 86% corn, 8% barley, and 6% rye. The bourbon is aged in new American oak barrels for 26 years.

This bourbon’s deep amber color matches its long aging process. Its scent offers hints of leather, tobacco, and dark fruits. On the palate, flavors include plums, cloves, ginger, and dark chocolate. It finishes with oaky, dark notes and a touch of sweet fruit.
